What is volaris.com/extras? Is it different than Volaris.com?

This is a section of the Volaris web page where you can purchase extra benefits for your trip and discounts on future flights. This is the only section of the Volaris page with a shopping cart. Here you can buy just about anything that Volaris sells other than airline tickets.

What payments are accepted?

You can pay with Mastercard, Visa, and American express.

I didn’t receive my confirmation email, what do I do? How can I get help with a purchase?

Email yourexperience@volaris.com with the details of your problem and we’ll respond as soon as possible.

How can I request my electronic invoice?

For shuttle purchases, you must request your electronic invoice from the shuttle provider, whose contact information is found in our terms & conditions. For gift cards and coupons, no electronic invoice can be provided. For all other purchases, if you did not select the option to receive an electronic invoice during your checkout process, you will only qualify to receive a generic proof of payment. You may request this by emailing yourexperience@volaris.com

Extra Luggage

What is the Volaris baggage policy?

Does extra weight purchased apply to my round-trip flight? Or just one-way?

When purchasing extra weight for your baggage, you are given the option of selecting one-way or round trip. By default, this option is set at one-way. Round-trips are double the price of one-way.

Can I purchase 10kg and 20kg extra?

Each passenger may only purchase one type of extra weight. You may not purchase both in order to get 30 extra kg total. If both are purchased, the 10kg will become invalid.

Gift Cards

How do I redeem my gift card?

To redeem your gift card, go to the volaris.com home page and, in the flight search area, click "select a promo" and select "other promotion." In the boxes that appear, enter the Promotional Code and Coupon Number you received and click "activate." Your discount will apply to your flight search, and your unique code will remain active until you complete a purchase. For more information Click here

My gift card’s Coupon Number does not work. What do I do?

If your promo code and coupon number are invalid, please make sure that you have followed the directions for redeeming your gift card. If it still does not work, please contact us at yourexperience@volaris.com.

What are the restrictions on using gift cards?

You may only apply one gift card to each purchase, and gift cards may only be used once. Gift cards cannot be applied with other promotion codes. Half of the value of a gift card will be applied to the departing flight, and the other half to the return flight. For one-way flights only half of the value will be applied. Gift cards expire one year after purchase.

Coupons

My Coupon Number does not work. What do I do?

Shuttles

I can’t find the shuttle area, what do I do?

Please check the http://extras.volaris.com/Transporte-al-aeropuerto/shuttles for your relevant airport. If you need help immediately, call the phone numbers that you will find on each shuttle page.

What do I need to show to board the shuttle? What if I don’t have a printer?

If you have a printer, simply print your email confirmation and show that along with a valid I.D. If you do not have a printer, please write down yourexperience@volaris.com

What if I want shuttles to take me to one airport and pick me up from another?

To reserve shuttle service in different airports, you will have to add two different, one-way shuttle reservations to your cart. Once you have added your information for the shuttle taking you to the airport, go back to the http://extras.volaris.com/Transporte-al-aeropuerto/shuttles and select your arrival airport to repeat the process.
